What is Rumba Columbia & Abakua?
Rumba Columbia is a fast, highly rhythmic form of Cuban rumba traditionally danced as a solo dance. It develops musicality, footwork, coordination, confidence and the ability to respond physically to the rhythm.
Abakuá movement draws from an important Afro-Cuban cultural tradition and has had a strong influence on Cuban folkloric dance. Its distinctive movements, energy and character can add another dimension to your understanding and expression of Cuban dance.
